HELPING PARENTS
PROTECT CHILDREN ONLINE

SAFETYBOTS™ HELPS PARENTS MITIGATE THE THREAT FROM ONLINE PREDATORS
SafetyBots™ is an easy-to-use digital tool that can let parents know if their child is potentially vulnerable to strangers online. SafetyBots™ uses proprietary technology to anonymously and safely diagnose key indicators of social media vulnerability.
CONCERNED ABOUT WHO YOUR CHILD MIGHT BE EXPOSED TO ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
SAFETY BOTS CAN HELP.

PROTECTING CHILDREN & THEIR MENTAL HEALTH
1 in 6 preteens (16%) and
1 in 3 teens (34%) reported
an online sexual interaction (sexual messages, requests for nudes, etc.) in 2025.
NCMEC received 1.4 million reports of online enticement in 2025—a 158% jump from the year before—including more than 80,000 sextortion cases.
Even when there is no physical encounter, online predation and sextortion significantly damage the mental health of children, worsening depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, and self-harm.
HOW SAFETYBOTS™ WORKS
1. At sign-up, parents confirm their identity (as guardian), confidentially enter the social media handles of their child (but not the child's name), and authorize a SafetyBots Check-Up.
2. Do-no-harm SafetyBots are deployed to check on the child's social media exposure.* SafetyBots evaluate four Risk Factors:
-
A) if the child's social media accounts are public or private. Instagram and TikTok now set teen accounts to private by default. On
Instagram, teens under 16 need a parent’s permission to go public. On both apps, older teens can still switch the setting themselves, and some children hide the real setting from parents. That is why a routine check still matters.
-
B) if the child's social media handle is real.
-
C) if the child is following, or being followed by, suspicious accounts.
-
D) if the child shares a cell phone number on their profile. Some teens still put a cell phone number in a bio or profile. That gives a stranger a direct path off the app—texts, calls, and image sharing that parents cannot see.
3. Results + Providing Parental Intelligence™. Parents then receive a confidential and easy-to-understand SafetyBots Check-Up report on their dashboard.
4. Equipped with this parental intelligence, parents can then begin to have the important conversations with their children about online safety. SafetyBots™ provides additional guidance and resources for having these conversations and taking next steps.
*SafetyBots look at the public profile page. They do not log in as the child, and they don't scrape DMs.

PROVIDING
PARENTAL INTELLIGENCE
THE ADVANTAGE:
SAFETYBOTS GIVES YOU YES OR NO ANSWERS
Many of the "parental control" apps that pursue universal content monitoring are terrific. But some parents feel that those apps can be prone

Vulnerable?
to data overload.
We're focused on clear and simple Bellwether™ assessments that directly gauge if your child is potentially vulnerable. We generate yes or no answers regarding the Risk Factors. The assessment of vulnerability is literally explained in simple green and red checkmarks.
